About This Study
We are looking for adults who get migraines to take part in a research study.
If you join, you will come in for 3 visits at our study site. At your second visit, you will receive study medication to take at home the next time you have a qualifying migraine. You will use a smartphone app (eDiary) to answer questions about your headache before and after taking the medication. After you take the medication, you will answer questions 10 times over 48 hours. Then you will return for a final visit 4–7 days after taking the medication.
You will not have to pay anything to take part. All study-related visits, tests, and medication are provided at no cost to you. You may also receive compensation for your time and completed eDiary entries. Participation is completely voluntary you can leave the study at any time.
You May Qualify If You
- Are between 18 and 75 years old
- Have been diagnosed with migraines for more than 1 year
- Have had 2 to 10 moderate or severe migraines per month in the past 2 months
- Are able to use a personal smartphone to download and complete a study app
- Are not currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
- Have not taken prescription opioid medications in the past 14 days
- Are willing to attend 3 study visits and complete required diary entries
